'Munsiyari' means a 'place with snow'. Munsiyari is a tiny hamlet nestled in the Kumaon Himalayas in Pithoragarh district in the Hill state of Uttrakhand. Wedged in between the borders of India, China and Nepal, this is the last road head on the Indo- Tibet border.
